Chen & Chen Law Journal Founding

Columbia University School of Law from the Library of Congress

In 2022, Boston University undergraduate, Jerry Chen, founded Chen & Chen Law Journal. During his time in high school, Chen experienced working with a variety of legal and educational institutions inspiring him to pursue a legal field in the future. From conversations with an Assistant District Attorney at the New York County District Attorney's office to mentorships with law students from New York University School of Law, Jerry wanted to forward inspiration to younger generations in pursuing a legal career.

Through Chen & Chen Law Journal, Jerry strives to show how law – whether that be re-zoning laws to broader international laws – can impact whole communities. Published by current and former college students, Chen & Chen Law Journal hopes to give an impartial, independent view of certain legal topics, while advocating for readers to view all sides of an issue.

With your help and support, Chen and Chen Law Journal can continue to venture into new legal journalism. If you are into legal news, please subscribe to Chen & Chen Law Journal for more interesting publications, alerts, and connections.
